      according to the newest visa regulations of the People’s Republic of China, starting on the 19th of January 2017, the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Slovak will begin to undergo retaining of fingerprints to visa applicants upon the decision of visa consuls who requires interview with those visa applicants in individual cases.

      Retaining fingerprints complies with the international trend of advancements in technology, it improves the technological methods of collecting the individual data of the applicants, and it will not increase policy threshold of applying for Chinese visa. Chinese side is consistently devoted to raising the level of comfort for contacts between Chinese and foreign personnel, it welcomes citizens of foreign countries to visit China and is willing to provide for the latter necessary convenience in the process of obtaining Chinese visa.
