In order to improve the Chinese visa application services, the Chinese Embassy in Slovakia will start to use the newly developed China Online Visa Application System (https://cova.cs.mfa.gov.cn) and Appointment for Visa Application Submission System (https://avas.cs.mfa.gov.cn) for online filling electronic application forms and pre-book appointment time from 11th April 2019. All applicants will be required to fill in their online electronic application forms and pre-book appointment time slots.

From 11th April 2019 to 9th May 2019, applicants can still use the existing physical paper application forms of version 2013. Starting from 10th May 2019, all applications will have to be submitted through the online application system, the Chinese Embassy in Slovakia will cease to accept application forms of version 2013.

After a successful online application and pre-booking of appointment time, applicants will visit to the Consular Department of the Chinese Embassy in Slovakia, 20 minutes prior to pre-booked appointment time slot. Applicants will bring along their passports, online application form confirmations, hard copies of China Online Visa Application System and pre-booking appointment vouchers of the Appointment for Visa Application Submission System, as well as other necessary documents.
