In view of the actual needs during the epidemic period, the Chinese Embassy in Slovakia shall accept the visa application due to the following reasons:

I. For family re-union. Applicants should be the spouses or under-aged children of a Chinese citizen or a foreign permanent resident in China. A personal invitation letter and certificate of family relationship are required.

II. For taking care of or supporting Chinese parents. Applicants should be adult children, including their spouses and under-aged children. A personal invitation letter and certificate of family relationship are required.

III. For funeral attendance or visiting seriously sick patients or the other humanitarian reasons accepted by the Chinese Embassy in Slovakia. Applicants should be direct relatives including parents, grandparents, children and grandchildren. Death or hospitalization certificate and certificate of family relationship are required.

IV. For economic and technological activities. Applicants should be those, including their spouses and under-aged children, who are going to China to conduct economic and technological projects or resumption of work and production. Invitation letters issued by the provincial Foreign Affairs Offices or Commercial Departments are required.
