Starting from April 29 in 2023, people taking international flights to China can replace nucleic acid testing with antigen self-test within 48 hours before boarding, and airlines will no longer check the test certificate before boarding. In order to make preparations for travelers easier, the embassy in Slovakia has updated the "Guidelines on Epidemic Prevention and Control measures for Travelers to China". Please read it carefully and follow it to avoid affecting your itinerary. 1. Pre-boarding Nucleic Acid Test All China-bound travelers will need to take an antigen kit or nucleic acid test within 48 hours before boarding, and can only travel to China when your test result is negative or after it turns from positive to negative. 2. Health Declaration to China Customs You are required to declare your negative test result to China Customs by filling the Health Declaration Form on the WeChat mini-program of China Customs (scan the QR code below), or at https://htdecl.chinaport.gov.cn, or via the China Customs APP. 3. Boarding Check Airlines will no longer check your test proof. 4. Self-protection on the Aircraft You are suggested to take good personal protection to reduce the risk of infection. 5. Inspection upon Entry After arriving at the port, complete the necessary customs clearance procedures with the customs health declaration code. Those who have a normal health declaration and no abnormality in the routine quarantine at the port can enter the social area. Customs will conduct sampling inspections in accordance with a certain proportion. Persons with abnormal health declarations or symptoms such as fever need to cooperate with the customs in epidemiological investigations, medical investigations, etc., and accept sampling and testing of relevant infectious diseases. 6.After-entry Epidemic Prevention and Control After entry into China, you will have to strictly abide by the epidemic prevention and control requirements of the place where you stay.
