On 25^th May 2025, Chinese Ambassador to Slovakia Cai Ge attended the Dragon Boat Festival event "Love from Zhejiang, across Thousands of Mountains and Rivers".

Ambassador Cai Ge extended holiday greetings to overseas Chinese in Slovakia and said that the motherland has always been caring about overseas Chinese. The Zongzi (rice dumpling) gift packages as well as family greeting letter have come afar to Slovakia across thousands of miles, conveying love and care from the motherland. As President Xi Jinping met with Prime Minister Fico two times within half a year, the China-Slovakia strategic partnership has entered the "fast lane" with cooperation in various fields continuing to deepen. Hope that overseas Chinese could seize opportunities and contribute more to the pragmatic and friendly cooperation between China and Slovakia.

Children from overseas Chinese schools brought about performances as singing "My Motherland and I" and reciting "Dragon Boat Festival Nursery Rhymes", expressed love and passion on Chinese culture. Ambassador Cai Ge and representatives hang five-colour silk thread eggs for the children, wishing them good health.

The overseas Chinese expressed willingness to take practical actions to enhance mutual understanding and friendship between the two peoples and inject fresh impetus into the development of China-Slovakia relations.
