On July 22, 2025, the Chinese Embassy in Slovakia held a grand reception in Bratislava to celebrate the 98th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Liberation Army of China.Ambassador Cai Ge, Counselor Wang Xiaojian, Defense Attaché Wang Fei, Counselor Wang Hongliangas well as over 200 guests including the State Secretaries of the Ministry of Defence of the Slovak Republic, other representatives from the Slovak military and government, friends from all walks, foreign diplomats and defense attachés in Slovakia, representatives of Chinese enterprisesand members of the overseas Chinese community attended the event.

In his speech, Defense Attaché Wang Fei stressed that the People's Liberation Army of China firmly safeguards world peace, actively embraces the vision of a community with a shared future for humanity, deeply engages in global security governance, actively participates in international peacekeeping operations, escort missions as well as international disaster relief and humanitarian assistance. Consistently, China has been a builder of world peace, a contributor to global development, and an upholder of the international order, striving to make greater contributions to building a better world of lasting peace and universal security.

The guests extended warm congratulations on China's outstanding achievements in socio-economic development and national defense, spoke highly of China’s significant contributions to global peace and stability, and expressed best wishes for further advancement of relations between the two countries and the armed forces to a new level.
