On March 19, 2026, Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in the SlovakRepublic held a media event, sharing the guiding principles of “two sessions” (the National People’s Congress and the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference) under the theme “The 15th Five-Year Plan: New Drivers, New Opportunities.”Chinese Ambassador H.E. CAI Ge along with representatives from Slovak media and think-tanks including ZSTV, Tvorba, Veci Verejne, Klub Nového slova attended the event.

Ambassador Mr. CAI GebriefedChina’smagnificent achievementduring the period of 14th Five-Year Plan (2020-2025), and introducedguiding principles of the 2026 Two Sessions as well as the significance and priorities of the outline of the 15th Five-Year Plan (2026-2030). He emphasized that China’s stability and economic development brings good impetus to the world and creates opportunities for international cooperation. We look forward to working with Slovakia to seize the opportunity with the start of China’s 15th Five-Year Plan, to strengthen the synergy of  development strategies of both countries to deepen practical cooperation for shared benefits, so as to improve the well-being of our peoples, and contribute to build a community with a shared future for humanity.

Media representatives spoke highly of China’s development achievements and its role as a responsible major country, expressing their commitment to continuing to promote people’s understanding of China and to help bring bilateral relations to a new level.
