On September 3, 2026, the Slovakian magazine ExtraPlus published an interview with Chinese Ambassador Cai Ge. In he interview, Ambassador Cai answered questions on the state visit by President Pellegrini to China, bilateral cooperation between China and Slovakia in economic, trade, scientific, technological, and cultural fields. He also strongly refuted the erroneous remarks and actions of certain Slovakian politicians.
