2026-10-14 01:03

On October 11, 2026, the Chinese Embassy in Slovakia, together with the embassies of Japan, Vietnam, India, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, and Palestine in Slovakia, held the 2026 "Asian Day" in Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia. Chargé d'Affaires a.i. Counsellor Wang Xiaojian and diplomatic envoys of relevant countries in Slovakia attended and delivered remarks.

Wang stated that China advocates and practices the Global Civilization Initiative, and maintains that the diversity of world civilizations should be respected and the common values of humanity promoted. This event fully showcases the mutual learning and cultural charm of Asian countries, and is a vivid reflection of the implementation of the Global Civilization Initiative. China has a long history and rich culture. We welcome the Slovak citizens to fully utilize the visa-free policy and visit China by themselves to experience a real China that is both ancient and young, both traditional and modern in style.

The event was held in a warm and lively atmosphere. Martial arts performance organized by the Chinese embassy drew loud applause. The China booths attracted a continuous stream of visitors. Embassy staff presented calligraphy, tea ceremony, and exquisite Chinese handicrafts to local people and tourists. A panda mascot interacting with the audience became the focus of attention at the event.
