To ensure the health and safety of international travel and to reduce the risk of cross-border spread of the epidemic, passengers who are about to fly to China are required to obtain COVID-19 negative certificates before boarding. Details are as follows:

A. Concerning the above issues, the Civil Aviation Administration of China, the General Administration of Customs, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China published the relevant announcement on July 20. The Chinese Embassy in Slovakia is conducting comprehensive assessment of the implementation and doing corresponding preparations. The specific measures will be implemented in due course when conditions are met, which shall be published on our website.

B. Passengers transiting via specific nations

Currently, as there are no direct flight links between China and Slovakia, passengers who will transit to China through Chad, Bangladesh, Egypt, Pakistan, Russia, Saudi Arabia (real-time nation list: https://hr.cs.mfa.gov.cn/help_two/help-two/gj.html) are supposed to board the planes with negative Covid-19 Nucleic Acid Test certificates. Passengers starting from Slovakia and transiting via one of those nations on the real-time nation list must complete the Covid-19 Nucleic Acid Test in Slovakia in advance.

C. How to get the negative Covid-19 Nucleic Acid Test certificates?

1. Passengers who are about to fly to China are required to take Nucleic Acid Tests for COVID-19 within 5 days before boarding. The Chinese Embassy acknowledges test results from the attached medical facilities in Slovakia (see Attachment 1).

2. Passengers are required to send their negative COVID-19 test report together with Health Declaration Form (see Attachment 2) to the Chinese Embassy in Slovakia to the e-mail: covidpcrtestsvk@gmail.com.

3. The Chinese Embassy will verify the reports with official stamp on the Health Declaration Form and email it back. Passengers should print it out and present to airlines at airports.

D. Airlines shall check the Health Declaration Forms of their passengers at the Airports. Passengers who do not meet the above requirements should not be allowed on board.
